How to make noise-cancelling headphones
What is ANC -
How does Noise Cancellation work?
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology counters external sound with equal anti-noise, allowing you to immerse yourself in what you’re listening to. Outward-facing microphones to detect external noise, and inward-facing microphones to eliminate internal noise.
That's what ANC is. Microphones built into PCBA capture surrounding noises, and audio processing circuitry takes those noises and generate their inverse to cancel them out in real time.
All you hear is the music coming from your headphones - and not anything going on outside.
How about Kanen -
How does Noise Cancellation Perform?

ANC C10, using two outward-facing microphones to detect external noise, and two inward-facing microphones to eliminate internal noise. One call microphone generates clearer calls. In addition,Transparency mode lets outside sound in, so you can hear what’s going on around you.
